All right we obviously know the big three Supes, Bats, and Wondy. We should probably round out the line up with GL, Flash, Martian Manhunter as for a seventh member i could go a lot of different ways. i think another woman in the cast would round it out a little more. But then again there are so many other characters i would like to see. But let's get down to brass tacks here. My cast would be as follows;
Superman: Brendan Fraser. (Oh come on people let the past die! He was really good in the mummy series, and if we can forget the whole Dudley do right / George of the jungle thing i think he would turn in a solid performance.)
Batman: Russell Crowe (Just get him to do the Maximus voice from Gladiator ("The frost, sometimes it makes the blade stick.") and you've got it. i also saw somebody else say Michael Keaton and really i would love to see that. And if all that fails just stick Kevin Conroy in a muscle suit and get him a stunt double.)
Wonder Woman: Carrie Ann Moss (She definitely has the eyes and the voice to pull off this role. Plus we've already seen she's no stranger to physical work. i'm sure if she buffed up she would make the perfect choice for Diana.)
Green Lantern: Taye Diggs (Okay we need someone tough(John's an ex Marine y'know) and smart. Hmm tough and smart. Well as Cleric Brandt in the film Equilibrium, Diggs turned in an excellent performance in both those arenas and if you give him the good guy attitude instead of the bad then he's my choice to play John Stewart.)
The Flash: Ryan Reynolds (i sat and thought about it for a long time and really he was not my ideal choice after that cluster-#$%@ Amityville. But he's proven that he can play the physical character and also has the enthusiasm necessary. If they pick Barry Allen then i'm not sure how that will pan out but he'd be a good Wally West.)
Martian Manhunter: Laurence Fishburne (Just take his Morpheous character and dip him in green paint and make his eyes glow red and there you have J'onn J'onzz. Although his John Jones persona was a white guy. But i think they should ditch the John thing in order to get the best J'onn.)
The Seventh?: Okay here are just some rapid fire from the hip suggestions; Jim Carrey as Plastic man, Halle Barry as Vixen, Monica Keena as Power Girl, Gerard Butler as Hawkman, Carey Elwes as Dr. Fate, Paul Walker as Aquaman, No, Brad Pitt as Aquaman and Paul Walker as Booster Gold!
